Hello Everyone,
Here goes my first (published) post. The first one i wrote on the 14th of August, 2008 The independence day of Pakistan. Due to some technical reasons the page got refreshed and the post wasn’t successful. Anyway building on the title i believe any sane human would take these three words, expressions whatever you may call it to be synonyms.
As we speak the 3rd phase of the Israel offensive is underway in Gaza. Over 800 people dead and thousands wounded. The city is in shambles. But that can be rebuilt. What will take a very long process to build and control are the consequences of such oppression that has been forced on the people of Gaza.
I might be adding to the infinite data capacity of the World Wide Web by repeating what the news is saying but maybe somewhere this post of mine might provoke a thought hopefully resulting in some sort of action.
Afghanistan then Iraq to de-rule tyrant, bigger tyrants entered and have left these places in shambles. Same is happening in the Northern areas of Pakistan and we will see in the coming time how this has aggravated the self-controlled situation in to a situation for the whole nation to worry about. As if the nation didn’t have enough of its own problems say for instance Electricity!
I wonder how the double standards of U.S are not being shown on T.V or not in the news. A few hours ago the youth of Karachi (A small group) protested near the Governor’s house. The protests were peaceful as they were trying to show their solidarity with the people of Gaza. After half hour of protest police arrived and started gas-shelling the protest creating chaos in the city. But we are used to chaos so Big Deal!
Now no country has come to the aid of poor Palestinians in the hour of need. Mr. Hugo Chavez has by asking the Israeli embassy personnel to leave the country. He is also on the move to do the same with the U.S embassy. On the other hand there was a fund raiser in U.A.E clap clap but how would that money help the Palestinians?
Aid, speeches, protests I believe won’t really help at this point in time. So what would? Maybe a unified force that does some sensible politics. The matter cannot be resolved by force but through discussion.
I recall (from my archived T.V viewing memory) that former president Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had a vision for Oil producing Islamic countries to unite and govern the shaping up process of Middle East and the Muslim world. My foreign friends don’t get me wrong here as I am not debating a war between the Jews and Muslim or Christians or Muslims. Every religion, every race, every country and even every neighborhood has good and bad people. Combine all the politicians, policy makers and people of power and high office and they won’t be more than a few percentage but they continue to oppress the remaining larger percentage of people. The people who vote for these people but it all gets screwed up somehow. Continuing to Mr. ZAB’s vision for Oil producing countries/Islamic countries, had that vision been adapted I am sure the Muslims specially the Arabs would have been in a better position. Mr. Chavez has shown leadership; underdog or the lion whatever he has shown valor.
The Arabs and other Muslim nations sit and watch an important disaster in the history in making in their drawing rooms, cafés, offices and streaming videos on cell phones.
What is missing is leadership. Economic and political pressure on Israel and its allies but aren’t all the countries an ally?
In a way they are as they are not taking any measures to put a stop to the violence!
The democracies of the world must unite to put a stop to the massacre of innocent Palestinians!
Amazingly its kind of rhyming no? Tel Aviv Tyrants the (Real) Terrorists!

im marvelled by flip flop behavior in Pakistan where people pretend to care for the plight of the Palestinians yet ignore the situaion in FATA for one simple reason. For the individual, it is fashionable to oppose the occupation in Gaza & for the media, high ratings can be attained by broadcasting a tradegy that can twisted to suit sponsors interests.
